It's interesting to compare Olga & Voronov's "relationship" with that of Alexei and Princess Ilena.

On one hand Alexei and Ilena could have theoretically been a couple, both being royals and having familial ties. Olga, so long as she was a Grand Duchess at least, could never have married an officer. And of course Voronov later married making it a rather moot point anyway.

But I guess I just find Olga's relationship with Voronov more romantic. First off it was obviously much more developed, far as we know, than any feelings Alexei expressed towards a female. Then also I find it easier to identify with as a commoner myself several years Olga's senior. I can see how an officer gentleman could fall for a beautiful GD and think it's incredibly sweet that her heart wore no titles when it came to love and attraction.

Hmmm, tough call between Olga A and Nicholas II.

I like both of their personalities and consider them both very good people. Nicholas was a failed Tsar, but Olga never had anything remotely near that level of responsibility.

Guess I'll go with Nicky, if for no other reason than there would have been no OTMAA with him!

Day 14: I choose NII, as you well said edubs he wasn't a good Tsar but in the other hand he was an excellent father and husband, so that's why I choosed him. And true, we wouldn't have had OTMAA without him, another very good reason in his favor!!! :-D
