I guess my writings on here would qualify. Certainly all is inspired by the IF even if the story itself includes many scenes that have little to do with them.

Day 29:  Favourite impersonation of a Romanov by an actor.

Michael Jayston as Nicholas II in Nicholas and Alexandra.

Day 29: Toss up for me between Gayle Hunnicutt and Janet Suzman's portrayal of Alexandra. One from 'Fall of Eagles', the other from 'Nicholas & Alexandra'.

Day 29: while I really liked Lynda Bellingham portrayal of Alexandra in "Romanovy" I think I'll choose Sergey Muchenikov portrayal of Dmitri P in "Agony". Simply because it was the only time to me that he was portrayed well, along with Felix.

Rickman would be mine too, but he didn't play a Romanov. I assumed we were keeping it to the family.

Oh, if that doesn't count, I guess mine would be Yuliya Novikova, who played Olga in Romanovy. She looked the part so much.

Day 30:  Favourite Romanov Fiction.

The Lost Crown, by our own Sarah Miller (Sarushka).

The Lost Crown, of course! Sarushka writes the best find of fanfiction. It's fiction, but not outside the realm of possibility. You don't read it and say to yourself, "That wouldn't have happened in a million years."

Day 28:  a few of my internet passwords. I'd be more specific, but that would tend to defeat their purpose (plus they've changed over time).

Day 30:  My favorite English-language Romanov fiction novel is of course The Lost Crown, and my favorite German historical novel is Die Zarentochter by Petra Durst-Benning.  It's about Tsar Nicholas I's second daughter, Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna, who later became queen of Wuerttemberg.

P.S. For anyone interested, there is a 30 day royalty-in-general challenge floating around the Internet right now ;)

We reached the end, but we can still keep going if you like making up questions.

Day 31: Favorite group photo of Romanovs and relations.

I guess the 1914 Romania one.
