30 Day Romanov Challenge

I'm sure many people have seen this on Tumblr, but I think it would be fun to do here as well. We're a bit behind Tumblr now, but that's okay.

Day 1: Favourite Grand Duchess or Princess

My answer is Olga Nicholaievna. She seems to have been the most complex one.

I hate having to choose between OTMA...and since all four of them would qualify as my favorite (like a four way tie) I'll go with one of their Grand Duchess relatives.

Olga Alexandrovna is my pick.

Mine would be Maria Nikolaevna (Mashenka!!) because I could say we have a lot of similarities, IMO.

Does it have to be an OTMA grand duchess?  If so, my favorite is Olga, but if it can be any grand duchess or princess, my pick is Grand Duchess Alexandra Nikolaevna.

Either Livadia or Alexander Palace certainly. But I too will have to say the palace in Crimea!

Alexander Palace because they stayed there longer than in Livadia, and I terribly want to go there someday :'(

I missed day one!

D.1: Favourite Grand Duchess-Olga. Very interesting character indeed!

D.2: Favourite residence-tough one!! I'll probably go for Alexander Palace I'd love to go there one day.

Day 2:  The Cottage Palace of Nicholas I at Peterhof.  It was his family's most beloved retreat.

Day one: GD Maria Nikolaievna.. not a hard call

Day Two :  Any Crimean palace, so can't  go wrong with Livadia ...nice beach!!! nice hiking!!!, fabulous weather!!!
