Day 11: It's really hard to choose a favorite emperor but for Empress I'll go with

Maria Alexandrovna so I guess Alexander the II for emperor.

Emperor/Empress:
For Emperor, I'll probably go for either Nicholas or Tsar Alexander II. 
For Empress, I'll go for Alexandra. Why? I find her complex and interesting to actually read about and research!

Day 8:Favorite formal photo. Although I must say that I love all their 1914 formals if I must chose only one I'd pick the next:

Day 10: Favorite past Romanov. I think that this must be between Peter the Great (for the same reason mentioned by Clockwork girl) and also AII (the emancipation of serfs). I feel much interest also for Catherine the Great but she's not my fave.

Day 11: My favorite Emperor is Alexander II (I admire him as Emperor but don't like his personal life), I don't have a real favorite Empress, I'm interested in all the empresses of the 19th century. Perhaps Elizaveta Alexeievna (she was a great and tragic beauty) or Empress Marie Feodorovna -Dagmar of Denmark- (she did a good role as consort empress, IMO).

(This means people who you think should have been in a relationship but most likely weren't.)

The adult versions of Aleksey and Princess Ileana of Romania. That's all I have.
