Day 3:  Favourite portrayal of a British Royal by an actor/actress.

Colin Firth as King George VI in The King's Speech.

Day 3:
Tough one. I'll go with Judi Dench as Queen Victoria in Mrs Brown, but Rupert Friend as Prince Albert in The Young Victoria is a close second.

I have to agree with TimM here...Colin Firth was fantastic as King George VI. I really enjoyed "The King's Speech".

Ough, that is tough. I'm going to say Colin Firth's King George VI, but Helen Mirren runs second.

This is going back a bit, but I have to go for Glenda Jackson as Elizabeth I in the BBC series Elizabeth R. This is partly because the other parts were so well cast, in particular Robert Hardy as Leicester.

Day 4:  Most misunderstood royal.

Richard III.  There is no first hand evidence to connect him to the murder of the two princes.  It's all hearsay, in a modern court of law, the case would be quickly thrown out.

Day 5:
Another tough one. I'll go with the Queen's sister, Princess Margaret.

Day 3: I haven't seen many British Royal films, and I intend to see more, actually, so I'll just go for Emily Blunt as Queen Victoria.
Day 4: Tough. Princess Margaret, as the above poster said.

Day 4: Prince Charles. I have often felt very sorry for him and consider that he received a huge amount of (undeserved) bad press.

Question: I only started this challenge on Day 3...should I go back and do days 1 and 2 or just continue from here?

Cheers,

Day 4:  I agree with you about Prince Charles, Greenowl, but I'm going to say Queen Mary I, aka Bloody Mary.  I think she was a terrible queen, and I obviously don't condone burning anyone at the stake, but the woman had to have had serious issues.

Day 3: I'm not much fond of movies about Royalty so I can't say.
Day 4: I think that Princess Margaret was a misunderstood lady.

Most misunderstood royal.  I'll take the funny route and say Prince Phillip and his innumerable gaffes.
