This is blurry, and I apologize!

kind of hard to tell, but I have heard that Marie had bad teeth, and probably other members of the IF; so I wouldn't doubt that Alexei's teeth weren't perfect either. :)

Um...is it possible that someone could change the title of this thread.

I mean, come on, we're not in West Virginia here (apologies to folks from there, but you get my meaning).

Give the girl a break Dashkova! Sometimes people continue to make 'simple' mistakes in their second languages for years, because no one tells them the correct form. For someone who has only been learning English for 2 years, Vera isn't doing too badly (that is when she is using English as opposed to Txt English.)

Your overreaction is so silly.  Look at the first post in this thread. Here's the first sentence (Actually it's a question and written in good English):

"Were Alexei's teeth crooked? "

Of course mistakes happen.  But it would be very polite for those who have English as a second language to pay close attention at least when they are giving a title to a thread/topic and if unsure, ASK! There's plenty here who could and would help.  But certainly it's not just those new to the language who make such mistakes, I've seen plenty others and it's not so bad when it's in the body of a message/post, but when it's the title of the thread it looks bad.  And I think we're all smart people, so please let it show!

Mandie, your point is well taken, I was just suggesting that we *all* be careful when naming a thread and if there is a question to spelling, ask! There is SO much knowledge on this board, it's amazing, and I think it's worth taking the time to ask someone who would know for certain.

You can see Alexei's aunt Irene behind him in that second photo Abby posted. It is a lovely photo.

And I'm sorry for my over-reaction to your comments Dashkova. I just felt a bit sorry for Vera as so many had given her a baptism by fire!

No prob, Georgiy.  It's just that some completely EARN such a baptism.  It looks like the individual in question has gotten over themselves a bit.

Hope it lasts.

Well, it's also good to know for future reference how to modify a post...
