I have always read about Yurovsky taking the written evidence (i.e. diaries, letters) and whatever he could find of the jewels and money. Never thought he took the dresses too (I suppose if he did he took more than just one belonging to one of the girls)! Is there any web link with information about the exhibition please?

Trunks of clothes, personal and household objects found in Epatiev House and looted by soldiers were recovered and taken by Sokolov. That is more likely the source.  Yurovsky took only the valuables as far as we know.

Yes , that is why I wrote {supposedly} , I didn't think the information sent with the photo was correct.

I'm not sure which exhibition it was , there were a few in different cities during year 2013 , I will try to find out from my contact.

Many new items & photos have *emerged* in the last year.........

Yes, that's good. And Yurovsky was taking his loot to Moscow, not Perm.

Another problem just occurred to me. All the clothes and personal items recovered at Ipatiev House were sent to Xenia and Olga in England. Every piece of the clothing was burned at the Family's request. It is likely impossible this dress came from Ekaterinburg if it belonged to AN.

Yes , good point.......I have found out that ....... {translation not clear} either :- "The photo came from Paul Kulikovsky" or "The dress {in the photo} came from Paul Kulikovsky" , I assume the Paul Kulikovsky mentioned is GD Olga.Alex's grandson ???.....someone else probably knows better..
