My books on the Romanovs
« on: January 22, 2014, 02:03:50 PM »
Dear all

For some reasons I have to sell a part of books from my collection. Possibly someone will be interested in the books from the list below. The editions are in Russian.
Please PM me with any questions on the books, about cost, shipping, payment (here in the topic is not permitted to discuss such things). I think the list will be continued soon.

Sorry, Svetlana, those books sound interesting, but I don't speak or read Russian.

I'm glad you've managed to find new orders for some of your books, Svetlana.  As I said, they sound interesting, but I can't read Russian.

So it's time to learn Russian! (Just joking). I have more in my collection as well as English books and post some lists later.

Thanks for offering such an incredible selection of books, although I am sad to see you part with them.
I truly appreciate your kindness!

I am most disappointed!

When I read  the subject of this thread, " My books on the Romanovs"
and who started it , our own  Svetabel , I was then hoping it meant there were  books about the Romanovs BY Svetabel!

sigh

What a pity this book is only in Russian...

Emperor Alexander III and Empress Maria Fedorovna. Correspondence.1884-1894 years
(the editors are A.Bokhanov and Y.Kudrina)

You've had a lot of very interesting titles listed here if you can read Russian. I really makes me sorry I can't do so.

I think it's hard to learn to speak Russian correctly, with all the cases and palatalisation, but it's not very hard to learn to read the language.

I have been studying Russian for 5 years, and I spent 4 weeks in SP in a school. I still do not speak well, but I can read a little. Amelia

I agree with that!  If/when you write a book, Svetabel, I will be pre-ordering it as soon as possible :)
