i very much like these pics of Elena and Carol together ,before or after their wedding coz they are very difficult to get.
for example i've only seen one photo of them with their son Michael ,which is weird so to say

You saw the one on page 6, didn't you Laurra? I was especially surprised at that one, given that it was taken after Carol returned to Romania. There are more of them together when Michael was an infant, they were covered pretty well in the press. In fact, the photo series of the last image posted also involved Michael. Helen was definitely photographed with him more than Carol, though.

Not sure about her Aunt Moretta.  From everything I have read, Sophie's children were closest to Mossy and her family.

Yes that is well known. Maybe Moretta was too embittered since she had no childen.

I haven't ever read that Moretta was particularly embittered by a lack of children--just disappointed and pained. It may just have been more natural for Sophie & Mossy to bond over their children--some of whom were pretty close in age. Moretta may have come to be more excluded from this--much the same way that singles often feel pushed out by friends who marry and begin to 'hang out' more with other couples. Plus, Sophie & Mossy seem to have been closer even when they were smaller, being the 2 youngest children. Morettta's bond seems to have been with Waldemar, her contemporary, and then she was lumped in with the 2 youngest as Vicky's trio. That doesn't necessarily indicate a strong bond and Moretta doesn't seem to have visited Sophie much, at least during Vicky's lifetime where there are her letters to go by.
