The child seems to be a girl. This may be the daughter of his deceased brother Alexander, Princess Alexandra of Greece same born the year that Michel.

Queen Mother Helen does love animals. I wonder how many pets did she had ?

Queen Mother Helen does love animals. I wonder how many pets did she had ?

I do not know how many animals she had in fact but what is certain is that she loved dogs. She is often seen with them at various times of her life.

At the beginning of her marriage to Carol, she is photographed with a big Saint Bernard, but maybe it belonged to her husband instead. Later, she often appears with a German shepherd  and with small dogs type of Fox Terrier and Epagneul.

In 1946, Michel and his mother were not  in exile, so I think these pictures were taken in Romania, either at the royal palace of Bucharest, or  at the Peles' Castle in Sinaia
