In the Great war forums Eastern front section there is a posting Russia's western front like you have never seen it before which is made up of colorized photos two of which are of Olga and Tatania  as nurses. One is of the russiaan female soldier maria Bochkaeva whose book is online at archive .org. others:

Peter Nesterov Russian aviation hero who has a wiki bio

Eugene Rudnev an aviator who won the Gold Sword of St George for his 14 August 1915 recon flight.

Ayla your work is wonderful. That last image, with the evening sky added, is breathtaking!

Those are really neat, Ally, but the one of Maria is simply unbelievably beautiful.Maria herself of course, but the realism of the colorising is so hard to achieve.
I do believe I have a new favorite!

Thank you so much Rodney! Sometimes it just so happens that the quality of the photo (and some luck) allow the colours to come out very nice. :)

I, too, especially like the picture of Maria.  You've managed to imbue the girls with such naturalism that I feel as though I'm literally watching them, and the surroundings with such stark clarity that I can practically feel and smell the air.

Beautiful as always, Ally!!

Just an small correction : Thats Toria (Princess Victoria of Wales). Thora was the nickname of Princess Helena Victoria of Schleswig Holstein .

I thought it was her when i read the caption and i said "Woaaa! i ve never seen any images of her with Alexandra kids!", lol
