Turns out, if you know that a яйцo Фаберже is a Fabergé egg, you can guess that яичко (small egg) is a testicle!

Interesting that голый, naked, is cognate with German kahl, Latin calvus, French chauve, as in Karl der Kahle / Charles le Chauve / Emperor Charles the Bald.

Also interesting that when you search Google for Наследник голый (Heir naked), you get nudie pics of prints Garri Uel'skiy, who is neither completely naked nor most certainly not the Heir!

Here's one interesting fact -- The Heir Alexei Nicholaievich called Count Vladimir Nicholaevich Voeikov -- Голый ( translation - the naked one). But in this case, Alexei called him 'Golyi' since the Count was hairless. So 'Golyi' can be also understood as 'the hairless one',  'without the hair on the head', as the personal nickname given by the Heir to the Count.  As we call people naked when they are undressed, the same word 'naked' in Russian can be referred to the one who is hairless. The story is depicted in Count Voeikov's memories.

Aha, I see, interesting. The nickname's playful insult can perhaps be translated into English as "the bare / barren one". Because I see that the standard word for "bald" in Russian is лысый, hence император Карл Лысый and of course Лысый — волосатый - the rumoured alternation between bald and hairy Russian rulers!
