am interested in any information and/or pictures of her. She was my father's stepmother. She married my grandfather in 1936 and died in 1975 in Stuart, Fla. Her brother Vladimir had a modest movie career as David Mir.

She was born Irina Petrovna Lazareff, daughter of Pyotr Lazareff and Elizaveta Lazareff. She was a first cousin of Felix Yousupoff. She was married to Alexander Rodzianko and, I believe, Ivan Hillarionovich Woronsow-Daschkow, who died in 1920.

He was Governor of Taurida (the Crimea) and Member of the State Council 1905-1917. His mother had a most unusual Russian surname: Екатерина Тимофеевна Фан-дер-Флит - Yekaterina Timofeyevna van der Vliet, the scion of a Dutch family who had emigrated to Russia in the 18th century to serve in the Kronstadt customs.

Берёзы севера мне милы,—
Их грустный, опущённый вид,
Как речь безмолвная могилы,
Горячку сердца холодит.
