I love all of these pictures of the family out on the balcony.  In most of them, everyone looks so relaxed and at ease. 

One photo in particular piqued my curiosity.  Is it really Alexandra with her hair down?

I don't think so. It looks like she's got a headdress on that falls to her shoulders.

Bryndis, amazing idea of this thread on regard matching photos with the AP rooms. I got no idea about the rooms in the Alexander Palace, but I will investigate.

I put 'Alexandra's balcony at AP'  in Google Images and the photo came out as a result.
