I think you'll love it!  Anastasia was quite a character.  I knew that from secondhand accounts, of course, but this is the first time I've really gotten a sense of who she was as an individual.

Yes indeed Dru. Much as I love Maria it's the Anastasia portions I'm more looking forward to. From the handful of letters/diary entries I've seen of hers I'm pretty certain I'll get a serious kick out of what I read in Helen's book.
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right...

Does this book have anything on Maria Ns hospital train coming under attack like the date and location? This is mentioned in Alexandra's 28 August 1915 (10 September NS) letter to Nicholas. I might be able to find out which unit attacked it. I would say it came under air attack.

There is a letter from Anastasia to Nicholas on 27, August, 1915  and the next letter is from 4 September, so no, I don't think so...
