All very good. The lady in Bromley does have a strong resemblance to the Queen, but I'm sure the Queen would be wearing a hat.

Our Russian history lecturer at university had a notice on his door, supposedly from KGB Headquarters, reading, in Russian 'Citizens welcome 24 hours a day'.

I decided to add this to this posting as fun things:

Models:

If you want some little Russian soldiers of all periods go to plasticsoldierreview for a complete listing of 1/72nd scale soldier sets in stock.

to paint them Hat Industrie has a forum where you can get painting information for them.

Vehicals there are some 1/76 scale models of WW I era Russian armored cars the Landships.com is the best site for info on them see also the site missinglynx.com which have sections on WW I, WWII and modern.

aircraft:
WWIaircraftmodels.com is the best place to go

Warships:
Modelwarships.com is a good site to go to for Russian warships of the R-J war and WW I
