Donations towards the restoration

I see that on the official Tsarskoe Selo Museum reserve website there is the facility to donate sums of money (in Rubles, dollars or Euros) towards the restoration of the Alexander palace rooms.

This involves a bank transfer from your own account to the specified account on the website......just a question, has anyone done this yet, and has it all gone smoothly ?
Im sure there would be no problems, but am a little wary of anything of this nature over the internet

It is safe.  The museum set up this special account specifically to accept the donations.  We were working with them on this last year. Things take forever to set up in Russia.

Thats good...it will be great to contribute even a modest amount and know its going towards achieving this long awaited goal !
