Pictures with Questions of West Wing AP

I just bought Stephen R de Angelis's V.I. Yakovlev's, The Alexander Palaces Furnishings, I is a very good book, but I have several questions. 1 is this photo is supposed to be The Main Corridor of the West Wing before alterations. I looks a lot bigger then the hall way in newer photographs and has an open staircase at the back. It doesn't make since that the remodel would be that extensive. I have looked at the floodplains, and they don't show this.  (Tried to put pictures up on Instagram, and it is their, I just don't know the link to give you.) If anyone can tell me a program website to put it on, I will do it so you cans see it.

It is not Alexander Palace !!! In the palace of the corridor called Bright. Look at the beast's head. I have a photo of the corridor in 1937
