The saga of Anna Anderson has got to be one of the quirkiest chapters of the 20th century.  It's amazing how DNA testing put the claims to rest, and reduced what might have been an enduring mystery to a mere footnote of history.

Anna would probably have her own Facebook page, where all her loyal ciphers could post their support of her rubbish claim to be Anastasia.

Yeah AA would have been sunk from Day One in the era of DNA testing.

I know of a Russian woman who claims her mother was Anastasia. She has been tested and has the wrong DNA, but she refuses to admit it, AND she has her own Facebook page!

Some guy posted to the Facebook Romanov News group just recently that he was STILL pursuing Eugenia Smith's claim despite the DNA, and he refers to her as "Evgenia Smetisko"!

Plus, with how easy it is to spread info now, the fact that she didn't know so much about "her" own family's life would have been public knowledge very quickly...

the fact that AA was several years older than AN would be more obvious in today's forensic photography, too.
