Joanna strikes again - with the most amazing photos.  The picture of the Jordan Staircase looking straight up at the ceiling is unbelievably stunning.  I'd never seen the staircase from this perspective before.

Re the 1913 dinner:  What was the occasion?  Judging from the turban'd heads at table, I'm assuming it was a diplomatic dinner of some sort.
