Thanks ferngully.  It's terribly sad that she lost her prince and her daughter.  She must be a very strong woman to endure such heartbreak.
I assume that she no longer performs as a singer?

If they started the numbering with each new century, couldn't that have accounted for the numbers jumping back and forth and up and down the years?

What about Princess Margaret of Pruissia's Reuss prince ? Margaret was the niece of Kaiserin Dona, her mother being her younger sister (also a Princess of Schleswig-Holstein-Ausgustenburg).  :(

Prince Heinrich XXXlll Reuss. He was seen as the most probable heir to the Dutch throne in case queen Wilhelmina would remain childless. So up untill 1909 he could be considered as a heir although he had severe competition from the Wied family (princess Marie von Wied was a daughter of prince Frederick of the Netherlands and she was very popular in the Netherlands). Prince Heinrich XXXlll was the younger son of Marie Alexandrine (daughter of grandduchess Sophie of Sachsen Weimar Eisenach, born princess of the Netherlands) and prince Heinrich Vll Reuss. The firstborn son, prince Heinrich XXXll Reuss was not considered seriously as a candidate for the Dutch throne. He was supposedly ugly and not very intelligent.

Prince Heinrich XXXlll Reuss and his first wife princess Viktoria Margarete of Prussia. They had a good relationship with queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands
