New Anastasia movie coming out this year.

So today I learned there is a new movie about Anastasia coming out some time this year or next year. At first i was so excited "yes! A new romanov movie!!" ........then I went to the IG for this movie. And No....It's not looking good. A Tzar Nicholas with out a beard?? And for some reason all the uniforms have fur all over them??? Why?!

The plot is that Anastasia escaped the execution....through a portal to the 80's.  The Instagram is just Anastasia movie. I'm on my phone or i would link a picture of the cast.

I mean I might watch it just for laughs but, why not at least try to look more historically accurate?!?!

The truth about Anastasia has been known for years now, why are these movies still being made??

To paraphrase Olga Alexandrovna, because people want to believe the fairy tale.

Even though the fairy tale ended tragically, that there was no handsome prince to ride in and save the day.

Sounds like this movie could be told using a made up character, and nothing would be different.  Why not just do that.
