Wilhelm I was apparently devoted to her and named his only daughter, the future GDss of Baden after her. There was an unbroken line of about 7 generations of Louises.
Louise of Prussia
her daughter Louise of the Netherlands
her daughter Louise of Sweden
her daughter Louise of Denmark (Aunt Swan)
her daughter Louise of Schaumburg-Lippe
her daughter Louise of Prussia (married Friedrich Sigismund)
her daughter Louise Reinhold, the last Louise
Most of Louise's other children named one of their children in her honor as well, and her great-granddaughter (through her son Karl) was Louise, Princess of Connaught. So between Louise of Sweden, Louise of Baden (whose daughter Victoria became Queen), Louise of Denmark (some of who descendants married into Swedish royalty), Louise of Connaught (whose daughter was the Crown Princess), they have a long history with Sweden. Some of the Swedish royal jewels go back to, if not the first Louise, then the 2nd (of the Netherlands).
