Model warships
« on: October 03, 2017, 10:52:51 AM »
In looking through the 2017 gallery section of modelwarships.com they had some models of warships of the Imperial Russian era including the Battleships Tsesarevich and Peresvet  pronounced pyair-yes-VYET.

One day I would like to post some pictures of some models I have of this period on this site if i could figure out how.

Upload your photos to a photo hosting site. Then copy the url of the uploaded photo and insert the url into the IMG tags from the "Insert Image" button on the toolbar.

If I can figure out how to post pictures I will put them here. In earlier years on the site modelwarships.com there are other models of Russian Imperial Navy warships. Most of them are from a company called Comburg a few from Zvezda. note: before and during the Russo-Japanese War most Russian warships had their funnels painted yellow. one way to ID them along with the Russian naval ensign blue X on a white flag. WW I period and later the ships were painted gray

Modelkrak a polish company also has models of a number of Russian and Japanese warships from the Russo-Japanese War period as well as models of WW I  and II era Russian/Soviet armored vehicles. Modelkrak models can be ordered from Roll Models Inc.

modelwarships.com in the 2016 gallery area has a model of the Battleship Impretrica Maria named after the DE Maria Fed. This was one of the ships visited by the IF in may 1916 were a number of photos of them were taken.

The only model ships I ever made were those of Star Trek ships.
