Netflix Series - "Trotsky"

It's an eight part series and one of the best I've seen on the topic. It's in Russian with English subtitles.
I couldn't stop watching it all day.

Actually the above series is more of a post communist analysis rather than straightforward presentation of events. It gives an interesting spin on the characters. Ramon Mercedies, the assassin, is a composite of a number of figures who confront Trotsky about his genocidal past.
