On 24 Dec 2017 C Span had a interview with lee Edward about the monument to the victims of communism in Washington DC. See victimsofcommunism.org. It contains a virtual tour of a gulag camp. In the interview it mentions the books "The Great Terror" and Harvest of Sorrow" by Robert Conquest and how Academics treated the book with sceptism when they came out. Sadly this was not unusual for them people who should have been smart enough to know better.
