Who is Irina Tolstaya?

Hi all -

I've been rereading Tatiana's diaries and letters, and twice in the fall of 1915 she mentions someone by the name of Irina Tolstaya. The first time she calls her "Alexei's Irina," and then the second time she tells Nicholas to tell Alexei they saw her at church. Anyone have any clues as to the identity of this possible crush/friend?

Irina Mikhailovna Raevskaya, Tolstaya by her 1st marriage and Countess Karlova by her second marriage.There is a photo of her with Nicholas II in Livadia.

She is the great grandmother of the current Princess Sophie of Prussia (wife of the current pretender), née Princess of Isenburg-Birstein.
