Looking past all the inaccuracies, it was a sweet movie. It wasn’t trying to be historically accurate like most Romanov movies, that’s why they gave her the name of “Anya” and gave it a talking bat. It was a princess movie so they couldn’t really show the sad depressing truths. As a princess fiction inspired by a historical figure I think it’s very sweet. I do appreciate the little things they did get right! Tatiana’s hair, Maria’s, Olga’s ponytail reminiscent of 1911. The picture she looked at with her grandmama was cute too! I like how they tried to resemble it to the photoshoot

The original concept arts are also very interesting! Some even look like Anastasia

Yeah, but it was odd that they made this movie, when the fate of the real Anastasia was now known.
