Here are some photos I took of the Sheremetev Palace in 2007 -- hopefully, more rooms are now restored. Several rooms have very interesting exhibits of musical instruments, and in the back of the Palace is the wonderful museum apartment of Anna Akhmatova.

Joanna, the exterior woodwork, interiors, instruments, and furnishings are all very beautiful.  Thank you for posting this launch pad for some research.

I'm very glad you liked the photos. Joanna inspired it with her post of the wonderful old interiors! So many more pictures on the walls then....
