There are actually 2 fines totralling 440 OOO Euro's
.
The fine has officially been given to the lamdowner of the property rather than the King.
The pltaform was up for some 5 weeks prior to the wedding yet the fine was only issued after the wedding and the fine was dismantled.
It is a deliberate attack on the King, his family and the good people of Spetses who are furious.
The politician is a know hater of the GRF, and he issued the fine knowing full well that the the Greek Police, various ministries, the Greek Secret Service and many other official bodies had authorised the function, the stage and where at the wedding.
His Majesty, although not being the official recipient of the fine, will vigorously defend and assist the landowner.

Lots of spelling mistakes there,
 sorry

I think it is a bad thing to attack a wedding. God would be on the side of rightiousness, and those Greeks will ultimately suffer. What ever happen to hospitality and good will ?

eric God always knows where right is but people often don't and to many greeks today not only the ex-king and his family are not wanted in the country but in their eyes they are not greeks in any way! they are educated to consider them an enemy!

That is sad. I guess why Greece is so much trouble.

Were the Michaels of Kent the only members of the Windsor Clan to attend the wedding of the Nicholases? Lovely to see them there! But I was curious as to why the Wessexes weren't invited or did they decline to attend?! The Wessexes are usually the Windsor Wedding guest fodder at European Royal Weddings aren't they, or is that only when the wedding is within a Ruling Royal House?!

I think the second arguement holds water in this case. Eddie & Sophie Wessex would most likely attend the Monaco wedding next year.

Can anyone tell me were there any noble relations of the bride present? After all her grandmother Countess Ellinka Karin Hariet von Einsedel is still alive...

Her nearest noble cousins from her grandmothers side include Counts von Einsedel,Counts von Lehndorff,Counts von Westarp,Counts von Dönhoff,Barons von Plotho and noble families like von Alvensleben and so on...

my guess would simply be because HRH Prince Michael's Mother was HRH Princes Marina of Greece, Duchess of Kent.  Prince Michael being 1/2 greek so to speak, IMO would be a better represenative

It may have something to do with Prince Phillip vowing to never return to Greece until the Monarchy has been restored.
Perhaps its one of those vows that travel generations?
And before anyone says anything, Mt Athos is not included in this point

I didn't know where to put this as Nikolaos and Tatiana doesn't have thread of their own, so I'm just gonna put it here (apologizes to the mods if it's putted the wrong place or if I've over-seen a N/T thread).

Prince Nikolaos and Princess Tatiana are expecting their first child, there is no official source confirming it but according to the Danish magazine Billed-Bladet, a 10th grandchild is on the way for Constantine and Anne-Marie.
