HH Princess Alexandra visiting the children's cancer unit and reading fairytales to children at the Ronald Mc Donaldhouse of Rigshospitalet,Copenhagen.Her visits there have become a tradition in this season,initiated by her several years ago.

To me,it's heartbreaking to see those poor little ones.

The danish court just announced that Princess Alexandra is going to marry her boyfriend, Martin Joergensen, on march 3rd. After the wedding she'll no longer be considered a member of the royal family, and will no longer be princess. Her title will be Alexandra Christina, Countess of Frederiksborg.

Alexandra,Countess of Frederiksborg will continue to receive an apanage,but will have to pay taxes,cf the Princess Alexandra apanage act,and her boys,TH Prince Nicolai and Prince Felix will continue to live at her home in the Osterbro disitrict,Copenhagen.

Indeed. And that Joachim will too, if he'll ever remarry. I like his new girlfriend, allthough I think she has an almost scary resemblance to Mary.
