Joachim's new girlfriend is a media wh*re.  She loves giving interviews and the attention she is receiving as Joachim's lady.

Aren't you being a little harsh on Marie? Maybe she just not a person who likes to refuse people, or find it easy to ignore someone who asks her a question. I now I would find it hard to reject someone who just want to ask a question, without feeling rude and illmannered, until I had got used to it. And when you're in love, you just want to share your happiness with the entire world. Alexandra was also very accommodating when she first met the press, until she learned how to handle them.

I read in a German magazine that CP Mary cut off her hair because she doesn't want to be compared to Prince Joachim's new girlfriend Marie. That's nonsense, isn't it?

It sounds like nonsense. Mary probably got a new haircut because she wanted to try something new. Many women wants changes when they're pregnant. I can hardly imagine she did it just because she don't want to be compared to Marie.

However to a woman it must be quite irratating to be compared with another woman. I remember Diana, Princess of Wales called Sophie Wessex "her double" for a while.

Is there plans for Jaochin to remarry ?

Not officially...yet. But in an interview in January, he said that for him, 2007 would be an exciting and very interesting year. He would neither confirm or deny it, when the question of an eventual royal engagement was on the way, came up. But what's more interesting; he and the boys have just been skiing together with Marie, where Joachim invited the press for a photoshoot. It's definetly a step that shows their relationship is serious. Neither he or Frederik have/had a habit to show their girlfriends to the rest of the world, unless their relationship is of a serious caracter. And the fact that he and Marie took Nikolaj and Felix with them on their vacation, can very well be a hint that an engagement is coming up. Most parents don't present their children to their new sweetheart, before they're sure that this is something that will last for a while, especially not when the children are so young.

Alexandra and Martin is going to be married here, at Oester Egede Kirke, and the wedding reception is to be held near by, at Jomfruens Egede, an old, beautiful estate.



This estate had a royal connection in the past. In 1674 Christian V bought it as a present to his mistress, Sophie Amalie Moth, who went to live here after the king's death. And like any other old estate that has just a little selfrespect, this place of course is home for several ghosts. Who knows, maybe the local White Lady will appear, to personally congratulate the newly weds.

Zanthia will answer the question... ...but in the Spanish magazines, I read that Mary cut off her hair cause she wanted a more "serious" look, not the look of a young pretty girl. Who knows...

Thanks for the info about the church. I wonder what Countess Alexandra would wear on her big day.

We'll have to wait and see, but I don't think we can expect to see a dress just as spectacular as her first wedding dress. Since it's her second wedding, I think she will wear something simple and no veil. Considering the temperature (allthough it has been an unusual warm winter) and the chilly air, she'll probably not wear something sleeveless either. But I'm sure she'll be lovely.

Yes...maybe a hat too. I love the champagne coloured dress Princess Caroline wore for her second wedding. It was simple, elegant and pleasing to the eye.

I agree. But in this case I think it's a bit different. Mary is the Crownprincess and that's why she should't care about Marie and her hair.

Another question: Is Alexandra still popular with the Danish people?
