Yes she is, allthough her popularity have been a bit outshined by Mary since 2004. But people who have met both of them, says that Alexandra is much more down to earth than Mary.
Alexandra is still very popular, and most people are happy for her that she's going to marry Martin.

Yes...She does have star power. I am proud that she came out of Hong Kong. My current place of residence.  ;)

The loss of a royal title will be a small price to pay if Alexandra can build a new & happy life..Let us hope the couple have a long & happy union..

Taken just before the official dinner the night before her wedding i 1995. My favourite photo of her, she look so royal.
The tiara Alexandra is wearing was a wedding present from Queen Margarethe. It came to her from her paternal grandmother Queen Alexandrine who in turn had recieved it from her own mother the Grand Duchess of Mecklenberg-Schwerin..nee Grand Duchess Annastasia Michaelovna of Russia..The Grand Duchess is seen wearing it in a famous group portrait from on of the 1896 Moscow coronation festivities...

Did she give the tiara back to her mother-in-law or will pass to her elder son for his wife?

It was not a DANISH royal heirloom in one repect..no doubt its her personal property to do with as she see's fit..The nicest solution would be to keep it for he future daughters in law..

I loved her dress, it was so beautiful. And her hair was just lovely. I was a little surprised that she was wearing a veil, but even more that she wore a necklace she got from Joachim. But perhaps that represented something old. And the two little princes were so adorable.

I was looking at the pictures of her first wedding and her second wedding. The advantage of being married twice it´s that you can change your style ;) The first dress she used was very regal, this second dress is more romantic and more sexy, I think.

Frankly, I thought her wedding attire was far too young for her.  And white dress and veil for a second marriage when you're 42?  ::)

Well...A girl is allowed to wear what she liked on her wedding day (guess Alexandra is a romantic). I myself liked Princess Caroline of Monaco's cream color Dior dress at her second wedding. Simple and elegant.  ;)
