Thanks ! Nice stamp. Yes she died in the camp. The association is appropriate.

Thanks for posting the photos. In the enlarged wedding photo you can see Princesses Irene, Olga & Elisabeth of Greece. That is why I think they must be close friends. There are also other photos of the Greek Princesses and other daughters of the King of Italy.

Saw the youtube link of the Italian TV movie on Princess Marfalda. Very moving and interesting. I wonder if it came out in DVD already ?

I think that the DVD it's not yet available, I have looked in some Italian web sites but I haven't found it, unfortunately not always the TV movies come out in DVD.

I've been watching that film on YouTube, actually! It was what got me interested in her.  :)

Yes. She was wounded in the first episode trying to save a little girl. Then it rewind to the day she met her future husband.

My dear Forum Members, if I am right the little girl on the right might be Mafalda's daughter Elisabeth of Hesse.
She looks so much like her mother, her brother Otto is also on the pic, the other children belong to Sophia of Greece and Christoph of Hesse.

Royal family members Elisabeth Hesse, Otto Hesse, Karl Hesse, Rainer Hesse, and Clarissa Hesse posing together.

Nice photo. I do wonder if she knew her husband had affairs with men ?
