The cookbook sounds rather fun. Is there going to be an English edition? And are the quantities going to be manageable - not for imperial banquets?Ann
good questions Ann! That would be some left over problem! lol!

Hi,

I have just returned from San Francisco and the Eurohistory Conference, given by Arturo Beeche.

"Honour and Fidelity - the History of the Dukes of Leuchtenburg" by Zoia Belyakova
and
"The Grand Dukes" by various authors
can now be ordered through Eurohistory.com

Larry

Got both my copies from them. Promptly and very satisfied as usual. lad the publisher seems to have defeated cancer, what a loss it would have been had he not!

Best wishes, Eddie

Again...thanks...battle's almost won...I'm sure to the utter frustration of some here and yonder...they'll have to wait for another day, a new battle!

Hi Arturo,

It would be great if on American Thanksgiving day, you could finally 'thankfully' say goodbye to cancer...

Hope so....

Dearest Larry...trust me when I say that myself, our family and the team of oncologists who have been on it since July are all very close to declaring victory!

Now...that's well worth a Turkey!

Is Stefano Papi`s new book on the Jewels of the Romanovs: Family & Court worth buying? I`ve read some customer reviews and they`re not so favourable reviews unfortunately  :(

I'm  not a buyer of Jewel books. But this one, is well worth to buy. But of course it depends what you expect to find? Do you find to expect hundreds of photo's of the Royal/Imperial ladies, wearing the jewels or do you expect to see hundreds of photo's of the jewels themselves?

Personally Laura, if I had read every review of every book on my "Royal" shelve, then of the 500 books I own, only a 50 would remain.

Just an update to AP readers: "Resurrection of the Romanovs" by Penny Wilson and myself, our book on the AA case, will be out early-released in three weeks on December 21-I see Amazon has it for pre-Christmas delivery. So it will make it THIS year, thankfully, and hopefully anyone who reads will enjoy it.

Aloha from Kaua'i!

Hooray!  I pre-ordered the book and Amazon.com did indeed give me a pre-Christmas delivery date - so Mele Kalikimaka (Merry Christmas) to me apparently!!

Can't wait for another wonderful Greg King - Penny Wilson book - I'm clearing space on my bookshelf already for it!

Mahalo!
