Dear all,
one of the two Easter eggs that Nicholas II presented to his mother Maria Feodorovna during the war bears an inscription, written in old fasion Russian. The text is a frase from the Bible, and mentions something like a man offering his life for another.
Does any one know the full frase, and then in Russian?
And then, does any one of you know how this style of Russian letters is called, and where one can find other examples?
I'd much appreciate any input on this.
Kind regards,
Erichek
