Tsarevich by Olga Barkovets & Aleksandr Krylov has now been spoken for.
Just and an FYI, all the books I put on the duplicate thread are for free, I even pay the shipping! Felix started this thread with a kind pay it forward plan, so all the books I offer will be free to a good, loving home. : )

If it's any consolation, I'll be hosting a Romanov book giveaway for US residents on my blog and/or facebook page to coincide with the release of The Lost Crown. My spare copy Sunset of the Romanov Dynasty will be part of one of the three prize packages. Keep an eye on the book threads for details.

That's awesome Sarushka!

Just wanted to add too - I can't seem to PM you I am_Tatianochka. It says the user doesn't exist. I just though I would let you know that I appreciate your interest in the book, but I'm sorry to say that the book has been spoken for. (You guys are quick at sending those PMs!)
Keep your eyes out though, I'll have more on here soon!

  Laura and Sarushka,

We all appreciate your great generosity in passing along extra copies of Romanov books, but I have to ask :  what's the deal  with acquiring them in the first place? Do you have friends in high places at book  sales?, compromising photos of librarians running shelf cullings?  Just kidding but just wondering.

Hahahaha! Guilty as charged! : D

In all honesty though, I've just been really blessed. I have been blessed to know a lot of generous and kind people who understand my interest in growing my Romanov Book collection (book obsession?), and kindly contribute a volume or two here and there. Sometimes I receive a book as a gift, which I'll  already have, so I just stockpile my duplicates of and give them away on a rainy day. (and it is raining lately!) : P
I have been so lucky to receive such kindness from others, so I just like to pay it forward.

I can't pass up a good Romanov book at a bargain price. Just. Can't. Do. It. I would much rather trade/gift them to good homes than leave them lingering on a store shelf. I have three copies of a rare biography of Anne Sullivan for exactly the same reason. It's my version of an animal shelter, I guess.

Aloha from Kaua'i!

Yes, I can relate "Sarushka" - I haunt the garage sales and library sales here on Kaua'i and if I find a good Hawaiiana book (or royalty, altho' those are rare here!) - even if I have a copy - I know I can find
a good home for the duplicate!

You are right - we run our own "book shelters" - LOL - perfect way to explain it!

Me too!  If I find books at tag sales or library cleaning sales, I just can't leave them. (Sometimes libraries will sell hard covers for $1.00 US and paper backs for as little as $0.25 US.)  I get them for so little that I think it is worth spreading the knowledge around.

I have never charged for postage, as many others here don't either, and it gives me great satisfaction to know that these wonderful books will be appreciated.

Felix began this thread with a great idea and it has just kept growing.

Have been wanting "Romanov Autumn" for a terribly long time now....

Anyone can help? I don´t have anything to offer in exchange, but we could make some dealing through PMs I´m sure.
