It's all yours Ortino!

Other books that have since been claimed are:
"The File on the Tsar"
"The Lost Fortune of the Tsars"
"Anastasia - The Riddle of Anna Anderson"

Just to give a heads up, I've been getting some PM's asking how much shipping is. I'm not charging shipping, I'm just happy to see these books go to a good home.  :)

Aloha all! :D

I have a good condition paperback copy of "Georgiana; Duchess of Devonshire" by Amanda Foreman that I'd be willing to part with.

I usually just give them away, but instead I was wondering if you don't have another book to trade, can I have someone just send me a little
something -- and I do mean little...from where you live?  This is what I usually do when I pick up a book on this thread, send some little treat as a "Mahalo" (thank you) to the person sending it out.  It is always fascinating to get something from somewhere else in the world - and I live so far away from almost anything, that most things seem exotic to me! :D

So PM me if you would like to do this.

Just "bumping" up my offer above!   If no one is up for trading, etc. --- I'm happy to just sent it to whomever will give it a good home!

Just let me know!

Mahalo!

*Bump*
Just to say I still have the following available:

"Nicholas and Alexandra" - Robert K. Massie
"Elizabeth I" - Paul Hamlyn

And Ortino, if you read this, I still have "Blood Relative" by Michael Gray put aside for you. I don't know if you got my PM's, but I just need your address to send it to you. If you want to contact me via email (if Pm's are a problem) my email is lmabee @ gmail . com

Cheers  :)

I wonder if anyone can help me. As some forum members know, I am working on a project examining the reliability and value of memoirs published in English of late Imperial Russia. Already I have compared (and contrasted!) the memoirs of over 70 authors. I urgently need to find a copy of Marfa Mouchanow's 'My Empress' (1918) ~ yes, I am aware her memoirs are fake, but that's exactly why I want to include it in a section looking at false memoirs and lies, which can be so harmful to later historians' work. Can anyone help by lending me a copy? I will of course pay shipping fees or any other expenses. Thanks in hope!

If no one has a duplicate, you can buy one from Gilbert's Royal Books:

Just bumping this well-deserved topic up a few!  :P

I still have the "Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire" book available, and also a book on Maximillian and Charlotte of Mexico -- any takers?

Now, I just know we all have some books that need new homes!   ;D

So sorry sweetie, I should have mentioned that I can't send them overseas (except to Canada) -- it is just too expensive!

Sorry again!  :-[
