Older photos of Anastasia

i haven't seen many pics of anastasia when she older, only about 2 when her hair was up, could anyone post some?

I don't think poor Anastasia had her hair up... I  think it was cut off before her 16th birthday...

thats the one, and there was one of all of them in the garden, those are the only ones i've seen. she was 17 when she died yes? not much time to put her hair up then

I guess the picture was taken around Easter, when Maria was in convalescent, in this chair Anastasia was rolled.

There is this long thread somewhere about the hair and how we all discerned that the photo was taken before the hair was shaved which was in June of 1917 according to Gilliard.  It looks like it was taken in the girls room since I have a photo of Maria and Nicholas with Maria in the same outfit sitting in the same big chair with a blanket over her lap...

On social/public occassions, she wouldn't have had her hair up until she was 16, but she may have had it up in private before that. Also I've seen photos of her, quite young, with her hair tucked into her hat, and not hanging down.

there is a pic on the tatiana thread showing anastasia appartly with her hair up at a young age and there was a bit of a debate whether she was wearing earmuffs or not

    I'm almost positive it was too. It looks like the girls' rooms, and also in the watercolors done in the 1930's of the children rooms, there is a light green chair with small purple flowers in that exact type of pattern in Olga/Tatiana's room.

Unfortunately, it seems that every site or book (including the Nicholas and Alexandra exhibit book) label this room wrong.....It's CLEARLY NOT Marie/Anastasia's room.   The dragonfly motif on top and wall color indicates that it's Olga/Tatiana's room.

I don't know..... it's so hard to tell whether her hair is up or not because she's sitting pretty head-on and has a hat on.

That was taken in 1913, her hair's not up.  It was taken in N&A's bedroom.
