Currently, I'm reading The Big Show in Bololand- (Bololand= land of the Bolsheviks).  Its about the American Relief Agency in Russia- anecdotes abound
for instance, how 'bougeois Russians' quickly tried to blend in with the peasants after the Revolution, how Americans could tell who these 'former people' were in time by careful observation, and so on.

A very good book.  I will be giving observations about it off and on throughout my daily updated blog
