But,if you put one L in front of her name Jutta and cutt off one T,this would have another meaning-the their native language this word would mean ''angry''!So she could be called ''angry''!

So "ljuta" means "angry"? Well, it does not seem very bad to me...  ;) And yes, I would also have thought that her other names (I mean the others apart from Jutta) would have seemed too German. Thank you very much for clarifying this! :)

For those having an interest in the modern Royal Family of Montenegro, you will find here some biographical notes and news about T.R.H. Prince Nicolas, Princess France, Princess Altinaï and Prince Boris of Montenegro.

Best regards,

Yeah, but you have to be a member.

I have a few pictures here of Zorka and Vjera and Princess Natalie.  I have a lot more, but I'm not going to bother dragging out all my photo cds tonight.

Zorka:

Vjera:

Natalie, wife of Mirko:

Milena was so very pretty when she was young and even into middle-age.  BTW, how did Marija die so young?

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

According to the book Nikolai & Milena, Maria died of tuberculosis. She was educated at the Smolny Institute in Russia but I don't know if she died there. Her mother, Milena, believed that the cold climate contributed to her daughter's death at age 16. Not much is known about Maria but she was described as 'shy, thoughtful and melancholy'. Based on a portrait in the book, she seems to have been very lovely with features more delicate than those of her sisters.

On left is Prince Stanislav and on the right is Prince Stephen, they were sons of Prince Mirko, Duke of Zeta and Grahovo. They died in 1908. Why? Were they ill?

Thanks.

Yes, both died of illness--what particular illness(es) I don't know. They died just 2 months apart so it could've been from the same contagion. Stevan was almost 5 while Stanislav was 3. They were the oldest of eventually 5 sons altogether--all the other sons were born after the 2 died.

Thanks to all of you. :)

Those children resemble so much to Elena's children, don't you think?
