Sorry that I have been away for so long.

To all those who I have spoken to on here, I have to say sorry for my long absence. I have changed jobs and am now teaching at a local college. I am teaching travel and tourism. I have been so busy that I have not been able to get on here in ages. But I am now able to participate once again. You were all so kind when my two westie girls died and I will never forget that.

Another sad thing is my Grandmother who I was very close to died just two weeks ago she was 97 and I used to talk to her a lot about stuff on here. She had a crystal clear memory and gave me great insight into her life and Edwardian life as she knew it.

Well I hope to be back into the thick of our discussions,

Dear David

Welcome back.   Hope you are enjoying your new job.

So sorry to hear about your grandmother's death.   By my reckoning she must have been born in 1907 - therefore she would have been ten years old when the Russian Revolution occurred.   What a wealth of memories she must have had, and you must know you are the fortunate recipient who can keep those memories alive.

I received those invites a couple of times but they were both on days I was away.
I love the irony that they will invite you to participate but if you break anything they can refuse warranty because the car was tracked.
I would still go if invited and available though.
