That's the image I saw on in black and white on the postcard!  So beautiful--I wish we could see it larger, and one of Nadejda as well.  Thank you for sharing MariaIIILuisa!

This year's Vienna New Year's Day Concert included a festival march written by Johann Strauss for the wedding of Ferdinand and Marie Louise in 1893.

Strauss composed  two pieces: Festmarsch op. 452 ( march for Ferdinand) and Hochzeitsreigen op. 453 (waltz for Maria Luisa). Here are the cover and the title page of the original Hochzeitsreigen.

A Reigen (round dance) in name only, apparently. Are there any existing painted portraits of Nadezhda? Almost all other members have there portraits in Bulgarian palaces, but none of her.
