I read somewhere that Thyra`s hair turned grey at once in a one night after she had been told of her son`s Georg Wilhelm death in a car-accident.

Is that physically possible?

Marie Antoinette's hair turned gray too the night before her execution. And Alexandra Romanov's hair got streaks of gray when Alexei had that accident in Spala. So it's probably from intense worry or grief.

Dagmar and her family usually spent their summers at their summer home, Bernstorff Palace outside Copenhagen, and Rumpenheim Palace in Hesse, Germany. Hope this helps.

Yes. But after Hesse-Kassel was overran by the Prussians, Queen Louise and her family stayed away from Germany, although King Christian kept close relationship with his brother & sister-in-law. Dagmar's hatred of the Prussians, became "The Germans".
