I don't think Olga and Alicky were "great friends". She was the younger sister-in-law, who kept to her own than to voice her opinions like other Romanovs...

Is this your opinion or do you have a source for this? I'm asking because there's ample evidence of the Empress being friends with both of her sisters in law via letters and photos at least early in her marriage. My impression is that the friendship with Xenia cooled first, as Xenia kept having boys while HIM kept having girls. Also, Xenia and Sandro began having marital problems. The friendship with Olga is fairly well documented and seems to have remained for much longer. While Olga was unhappily married, she appears to have remained close to her brother and his family. The only thing negative I've ever found in their friendship was the Empress complaining about Olga getting remarried during the War. I never once heard of Olga not speaking her mind to her brother and his wife, so I am wondering why you said this?

She calls herself Princess Kulikovskaya-Romanova. I doubt that Olga's husband had a title.

Thank you for letting me know who Olga was with in that picture. I'm not sure where I found all of them. I uploaded them ages ago, but I do know that several of them are also posted at a Russian website along with copies of what appear to be watercolors by Olga.
