Hey.

I'm new here, and I figured since there are so many knowledgable people here, you guys could help me with something.

Do any of you have pics of Tatiana smiling/grinning?

Yeah, that's an awfully cute video too.
Something that I have always noticed on that photo is the way they have rather large "bumps" on their foreheads. It's really prominate on Anastasia, Maria and Olga, not so much on Tatiana. Maybe it's the lighting, but I've always wondered how bad those were in real life

Hmm, yeah I see what you mean Laura. I think it is the lighting showing the countours of their skulls. weird!

Actually, on the subject of the girls' big foreheads, they probably looked like that in real life, even more so due to having their hair pulled back very tightly. I also have a large forehead like Olga, and it annoys me very much!!  >:(

The video clip of the grand duchesses is included in the documentary, LAST OF THE CZARS, which I believe was done by the Discovery Channel. Maybe you can find a copy at the library?

There is a picture of Tatiana sitting and smiling up at her mother in the Mauve room.  Her hair has recently started to grow back in and her hairstyle is so cute and chic.  Their love towards each other is so visible.  It's one of my favorite photos (and forgive me but I do not know how to post photos - just haven't taken the time to learn properly how to post  ???)  Actually, let me say it - I'm just darn lazy right now  ;)

I have to add that I think Tatiana is at her most beautiful when she has short hair.  Around 1915-17, when the girlies would wear a ribbon around their head is so beautiful.
