OK, the downlow..
I live in Miami, Florida (the worst place ever!! :-X)
Mostly, I have Spanish ancestry (supposedly I am related to King Fernandino of Spain ;D), but with a little Cuban, ALOT of French (but, still more Spanish), some English, and some Russian (YAY!).
Oh, ya, and some Italian, and Greek.

Your name reminds me of the book we just read in school, "Kassandra" by Christa Wolf.
I can't rememeber who but one character was called Briseis ;D

Is she from The Iliad .... the lover of Achilles ::) ( the original Briseis I mean ;D)

In the book "Kassandra" written by Christa Wof, she is the girlfriend of Kassandra's brother Troilos and the daughter of a man called Kalchas.
I also looked it up in "The Greek Myths" by Ranke-Graves (who tells the real myths, while Christa Wolf changed many things), it also says that she is the daughter of Kalchas, who knew that Troia would fall and went to the Greeks, his daughter stayed and was in love with the Troian king's son Troilos.

So Christa Wolf didn't change this.

Greetings!  I currently live in the central valley of California, USA. My Mother is 1/4 Irish 1/4 English and 1/2 Dutch My father is 1/8 Delaware Indian 1/8 German 1/4 Irish and 1/2 Welsh.  That makes me quite a mixture!

I posted awhile ago, about were I was from, but not my ancestry-it is English, Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Swedish, Norwegien, and German, and a little bit of French. I am from IA/MN ( I live more in both, really,) ;D

     Delaware Indian is a Native American tribe also called Leni Lenape which means "the people"
