Wasn't she in the middle of a romance with an Russian soldier right before the family was murdered?

Oh, no, far from it!  According to Fate of the Romanovs, Olga was distant and withdrawn during their captivity at the Ipatiev house.  I beleive you're thinking of Marie, who caused a bit of a scandal by going off by herself with a young guard who had brought her a cake on her birthday.

Let's not forget the two goals she scored in the final game of the OTMA pond-hockey tournament in 1916 to lead her and Tatiana to a 3-1 win over the "little pair".

Sorry, I saw the word "stats" and just couldn't resist  ;D

I think Tucker was just being humourous - there was no pond hockey tournament, it was just a joke! :D

Don't feel embarassed! You never know, it could have happened!  ;)

Mashka was the one who had the "boyfriend" at Ekaterinburg, not Olga. After the Revolution, Olga changed from a cheery girl to a more withdrawn and sullen girl.  :-/

Yes, I was just trying to be funny.  ::)

That picture of(I believe it was T and A ice skating) popped into my head and it looked like they were having a good time.

I guess it's possible they may have played hockey on the ponds at some point.

Keep in mind that the first NHL team to win the Stanley Cup were the Toronto Arenas in the spring of 1918. They are now the Toronto Maple Leafs and are still playing now (except for the strike this year  >:()

Kinda strange and sad that the team I love(the Leafs(then called the Areans)) were the team that won the Cup shortly before the IF met their untimely fate.

Go Leafs Go!!

A name day is the Feast Day for the saint that someone is named after. For example, I am named after St. Margaret of Scotland. Her feast day is (or was until a couple years ago) June 8. I celebrated my Name Day on June 8.

Her fave perfum was White Rosé (something like this);
She was an excelent pianist,painter and also had a fantastic talent for poetri (you should check some of her poems!).
Olga was one of the most intelligent sister,and was the only who did took politics serious,reading newspaper and having talks about this with her father.At the same time,she got that 'misterious' look,as Tatiana did.
Hmnn I think is it..
