GDIzabella, what an amazing idea that the last one was taken prior/after 1914 formals! And really, the dresses match! And that is the proof that those photos were taken in the Alexander Palace in early spring of 1914! How did you find it out? Was it labeled somewhere, it could be that I missed it.

I found the second on the otma.blog.cz/galerie and it was labeled as after the formals. Unfortunately, the site has closed it's gallery indefinitely for renovation, but there are loads of photos on it that I have never seen.

I'm quite sure the site you're talking about belongs to our own GrandDuchessAlly, and she's really good with pics, so i trust her!  :)

She has more than one, IMHO. I'm sure her site is Romanov sisters (which is wonderful - in english) but moreover i'm pretty sure i arrived into the site Izabelle talks about by a Ally's page somewhere. Moreover, the site is in Czech, which is her language, so... but now i'm having some doubts, lol!!

Romanov sisters is her English one, and otma.blog.cz is her Czech one. :) I seriously hope the gallery is back up soon! I just adore it! ;D
