You mean "Isabel Alfonsa" and "Maria de los Dolores," don't you?

There is at least one widely published phopto of Isabel Alfonsa's wedding to Count Zamoisky, the last such event to take place at the Palacio de Oriente. Photos of her children are even more difficult to get.  I have one of her son which was taken earlier this summer at an event in Spain.  Not one photographer there knew who the man was, a first cousin of the King of Spain!

As for Dolores' photos...they are not very common.  There are a few in "YO MARIA DE BORBON," the wonderful biography of the late Countess of Barcelona.  I also have some photos of Dolores (Dola) in a photo album of the wedding of Esperanza which the late Countess of Barcelona sold to me three years ago!

Perhaps the next time you visit us.  I no longer put photos on the net since so many in my collection have become photos in the "electronic" collections of other who conveniently refuse to grant provenance.

That would be great !

Or you publish a book about them. It is quite strange that they are related so closely to the Spanish throne,
yet so obsure at the same time.

I think the Spanish royals are under written, while the Romanovs are a bit over written. Yet they sold well...

Most people interested in royalty find a comfort area and choose to stay there.  For example, many of those interested in the IF want to know everything about its members but shy away from learning about myriad families from Germany related to them.

IMHO I believe that it only expands ones knowledge to learn about all royal families...then again that is how I go about this wikth tremendous consequences and a library that spills into several rooms now! :-)

True...I was of that same mind.

However it would be great to have more info out there so that people who are interested can source the material they need. Also some are some people that are also knowlegable about some aristocratic families that never even reigned at all !

Does anyone know what was Mercedes' title before she was married? Was she Princess of the Two Sicilies or Infanta of Spain?
